GETEC Daten- und Abrechnungsmanagement GmbH (GETEC DAM) has been an established process service provider for energy supply companies (EVU) since 2005. Highly automated and with a scalable state-of-the-art IT landscape, it provides all process services that enable its customers to operate successfully in the German market. The portfolio ranges from support in setting up an energy supply company to energy market and customer service processes through to forecasting the energy required to supply its end customers. As part of IT development, the systems are adapted to the needs of its customers. GETEC DAM develops interfaces to existing systems as required.
For GETEC DAM's customers, credit reports are an essential part of their risk management. Due to the data quality and the differentiated scoring, GETEC DAM decided to cooperate with SCHUFA in order to fully meet the requirements of its customers
The special industry score for the energy sector takes into account the fact that electricity is such an essential product that energy supply company customers with payment difficulties pay their energy bills much longer and more reliably than other bills or loans. A negative score from another sector therefore does not automatically have consequences for the energy supplier. Thanks to the special industry score, which takes this into account, energy suppliers can also accept customers that they would otherwise have had to reject due to risk management requirements.
Using the latest interface technology, a generic, i.e. universally usable SCHUFA interface for both SCHUFA information for private customers and SCHUFA business information for corporate customers was programmed to realize the requirement. This interface guarantees the connection of the customers served by GETEC DAM to SCHUFA. GETEC DAM can therefore offer unique added value in the processing of mass credit reports. Previously, both B2B and B2C reports had to be obtained individually.
