You can choose between various information options. The most important thing here is what you need the information for. On the one hand, there is information that has been specially developed to be passed on (for example to your landlord or an employer in the case of an employment contract with special requirements for the selection of personnel). On the other hand, there is information that should be treated confidentially.

The SCHUFA credit report with the original certificate from SCHUFA Holding AG serves as proof of your creditworthiness and thus creates trust, e.g. between tenants and landlords. The original certificate documents your financial reliability. You will also receive the following explanatory information for your documents:
- Your current SCHUFA score, which provides a statement about your creditworthiness;
- as well as an overview of your personal data stored by SCHUFA.
2. personal access to the SCHUFA information stored about you
You can register on meineSCHUFA.de and call up the information that is available about you at any time. You can also use the update service by SMS and/or e-mail, for example. This enables us to notify you automatically about changes to the data, for example if a company enquires about your creditworthiness.

3. SCHUFA account
In addition, the SCHUFA account also offers digital access to all data relevant to creditworthiness and your SCHUFA score at any time. In order to be able to view their SCHUFA data, users must first identify themselves for data protection reasons. This is possible via an ID card with activated online ID function or a residence permit with online ID function. Identification via an EU eID card also works if an address is stored on the chip. All ID cards issued after 2017 have the option of electronic proof of identity. All that is required is the personal 6-digit PIN and a mobile device that is NFC-enabled or has a contactless function. To register using the eID procedure, you can currently use a German ID card, an electronic residence permit or an eID card with online ID function. Alternatively, you can identify yourself by PIN letter. After successful identification, you will receive access to your SCHUFA account.
4. copy of the personal data (in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR)
With the copy of the personal data (in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR) you will receive free information about the data stored about you at SCHUFA.
