No. Currently, around 25 percent of companies that previously used SCHUFA's industry scores use the new SCHUFA score. In addition to banks, these include retail, mail order and e-commerce companies in particular. Eight of the 100 largest score customers are also already using the new score. Other companies have already planned to switch to the new score but have not yet implemented it. By the end of 2026, around 50 percent of all customers and 25 of the top 100 customers will be using the new score.

The new score will replace the six industry scores for banks, savings banks, cooperative banks, telecommunications, retail and mail order/ecommerce. In the case of banks, a changeover is generally only possible after notification and approval by the responsible banking supervisory authority. SCHUFA has therefore set a transition period until the end of 2028 to enable companies to make an orderly changeover.
