The quality and scope of information determine your decisions significantly. Don't stop doing business, but use the right data to make safer decisions when dealing with customers and suppliers.

  • A company changes its headquarters every 7 minutes
  • A corporate insolvency is filed every 10 minutes
  • A managing director joins the company every 30 seconds
  • Two companies merge every 12 minutes

We support you with data from company to company

We have decided not to adjust our valuation system during the coronavirus crisis. The reasons for this are as follows:

  • In past times of crisis, we have been able to gain the insight through extensive validation analyses that our scores remain selective and - albeit at a different risk level - continue to differentiate very well between "good" and "bad" risks.
  • The German government is implementing extensive measures to secure the liquidity of companies, especially in sectors that have been particularly hard hit by the crisis. We therefore do not consider a general devaluation of sectors that may have been particularly affected to be appropriate.
  • A "corona-free" assessment also avoids overlapping effects with your own considerations / adjustments within your own risk measurement methods. This avoids a double corona downgrading that is incomprehensible to you.

We regularly review our measures and procedures in light of the current situation.

SCHUFA B2B competence

  • 90 percent of German companies have fewer than 20 employees
  • We include the data of the owners
  • We are the only credit agency to link company data with personal data
  • Unique SCHUFA scoring makes the information more selective

You will receive the following data and information from us in a batch process (e.g. as an Excel/csv. file):

The assessment of a business risk is always individual and situational. We therefore have a broad B2B product portfolio, with which we offer you the right product for every risk. The SCHUFA credit report contains a credit report that focuses on the most important information. Thanks to this reliable information on your customers, prospective customers, suppliers and other business partners, you receive the knowledge base you need to make good decisions.

Valid information for reliable decisions

Our company database is the data basis for the SCHUFA credit report. With up-to-date information on 6 million German companies - including the 1.7 million registered companies as well as smaller companies, tradespeople, freelancers and non-profit organizations - we can provide you with adequate and up-to-date support.

Unique combination of data ensures maximum quality

We know the tradespeople and freelancers in Germany. 90% of companies have fewer than 20 employees. That's why the personal data of the owners is crucial here. We combine the company data with the data from the SCHUFA personal database (database 67.7 million). This gives us access to a total of around 1.002 billion individual items of data, which gives the creditworthiness index its above-average forecasting quality.

The brief information includes:

  • Master and identification data such as company name, address and legal form data
  • Communication data: Telephone, fax, e-mail and URL
  • Creditworthiness information: Creditworthiness index, credit limit, default rate

The SCHUFA B2B Risk Management Index (RMI) looks at the frequency of corporate events such as management changes, address changes, balance sheet corrections or mergers within the last 36 months and compares these with those of similar companies. Anomalies that occurred in the past and would not be taken into account in a traditional credit rating inquiry can therefore be included in the decision-making process, and the RMI is issued as a secondary index to the credit rating index. In this way, we offer you an extended basis for decision-making in terms of a holistic risk assessment and support in recognizing possible creditworthiness risks or fraud patterns (e.g. shell fraud).

Particularly in the current times of crisis, we recommend that you not only keep an eye on the specified risk indices for a company, but also consider the overall risk distribution within the sector in question. We support you in this with a newly developed sector comparison. As additional information for the risk assessment of a company, this will expand your basis for decision-making in risk management.

The sector comparison shows the percentage distribution of the creditworthiness of the stored companies within a sector. This gives you an insight into the creditworthiness structure of the sector of the company in question and allows you to embed its creditworthiness in a wider context.

You provide us with your existing master data on customers, prospective customers, suppliers and other business partners (e.g. csv. or Excel file). We "match" these with our database and enrich your data with our current information. You receive your data back from us quickly and easily with our additions and can use the additional information. Of course, we will provide you with a precise description of the file format to be supplied by you.

To illustrate this, you can download a sample file with the data we have enriched here.
