The score simulator interactively and clearly shows the principle of how SCHUFA calculates your creditworthiness. We explain how it works.

Simple, interactive and comprehensible - this is how SCHUFA will explain its score procedure in future. The new SCHUFA Score Simulator makes this possible for the first time: we ask seven questions in the form of an online test. If you answer them, you will receive a rough credit rating. Along the way, you will learn what influences the SCHUFA score and why. You can use the tool in all browsers, on your PC, smartphone and tablet.

1. navigation bar: Where am I?

Click on "Let's go" to begin the course, which consists of seven questions. These are made up of the seven most important factors for creditworthiness. There is one question per score factor. There are the same repetitive elements on each page. You can see where you are by looking at the bar at the top of your browser window.

2. info button: What is it about?

There is an info button next to the heading on each page. There is a text there that explains what it is all about. For example, the current account score factor explains what it actually means.

3. explanation: Why is this important?

There is always a short explanatory text for each question - on the PC to the right of the question, on your smartphone after scrolling below the question. This contains further information: Why is the topic important for scoring? And how does it affect the score?

4. result: What does the overview say?

Once all the questions have been answered, a results page appears. This is divided differently depending on the end device.

  • PC: On the left is an overview of your own answers. The result also appears. Below this is a short explanatory text for the respective result class.
  • Smartphone: The result appears at the top in the form. Below this is a short explanatory text on the respective result class and below this is an overview of your answers.

5th check: What changes my score?

After the first result, things get really exciting: because now you have the opportunity to change individual answers and test the influence on the score. All you have to do is

  • click on the relevant item at the top of the navigation bar, for example installment loans or moving house
  • Change your answer and
  • click on "Result" again.

This allows you to interactively try out how the factors affect the result. Alternatively, you can also click on "Recalculate" under your answers.
