June 23 - The Special Olympics are a home game for Justus Leonhardt. He heads the SCHUFA capital office in Berlin and is the point of contact for all stakeholders in the political arena. With the World Games, "his" city is making great strides towards its goal of raising public awareness of the needs of people with disabilities. And Justus himself is also taking a lot away from the event. He tells us what motivated him to get involved as a volunteer in the video.

June 22 - Upon entering the grounds of the riding club, Lena Ertler immediately feels a sense of belonging: the SCHUFA logo is emblazoned on posters and banners everywhere. As the "presenting partner" of the Equestrian Games, we are particularly there for the participating riders with intellectual disabilities. Lena is looking forward to her involvement in the World Games. Even if that means the alarm clock rings earlier than at home. "My shifts start very early. The meeting point here in the Olympic Park is at 7 a.m." You can see exactly where Lena is working in the video.

June 21 - Tobias Lauer was delighted when he was told he would be a linesman in badminton. "I've been playing badminton for 12 years and have been a coach for eight," he says. He finds it exciting to be up close and personal and to experience the emotions of the players directly on the court. "Many are very excited at the start of the match," says Tobias. "But that quickly subsides and you can tell how much they enjoy being here. The focus is on having fun with the sport." He tells us exactly what his role at the Special Olympics is in the video.

June 20 - Today we are in the middle of Berlin with Vanessa Aryeequaye. She is in charge of the SCHUFA stand at the Neptunbrunnen fountain near Alexanderplatz. There she receives active support from Tim Hausy. Tim completed a two-week internship at SCHUFA in February 2023 and was delighted to see his colleagues again in Berlin. The two agree: the absolute highlight at the stand is creating works of art with bicycles.
