SCHUFA has developed a new score made up of twelve criteria. One of them is the existence of an identity check. You can find out how this criterion will affect your creditworthiness in future here.
- Subject of the criterion: Existence of an identity check
- Points in the score: 0 to 38 points

- Awarding maximum points: Identity is checked

If SCHUFA knows that a person's identity has been verified, e.g. due to the conclusion of a specific contract, this is important information for creditworthiness and good for the score. Identity checks are carried out by banks, for example, using an identity card, as this is required by law when concluding a bank contract.
If no identity check was reported to SCHUFA, there are also zero points. As soon as the identity check has been reported, the score automatically improves by 38 points.
