SCHUFA has been collecting contemporary art at its headquarters at Schiersteiner Hafen in Wiesbaden since 2006.

SCHUFA's commitment to art is based on the FARBRAUMWELTEN collection concept. It picks up on central aspects of the corporate philosophy such as transparency and openness and at the same time incorporates the modern, permeable architecture of the building.

The collection focuses on selected works by contemporary artists who concentrate on a formal examination of color, form, light and space. The aim is to present the widest possible range of related techniques in painting, sculpture, photography, wall objects, installations and media art. The selected artists rely with virtuosity on the fascinating power and the event character of color, sounding out the effective forces and space-defining possibilities in dealing with color and thus creating a new artistic reality.

Once a year, SCHUFA offers art lovers the opportunity to view selected parts of the collection as part of the Kunst privat! campaign supported by the Hessian Ministry of Economics.
