We are committed to respecting and protecting human rights throughout our entire supply chain. This includes the prohibition of child labor, the prohibition of forced labor and slavery, ensuring occupational safety—including compliance with working hours—guaranteeing freedom of association, prohibiting discrimination, paying fair wages, protecting the environment, safeguarding life and health, and protecting habitats.
Effective January 1, 2024, we and our subsidiaries are subject to the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, in addition to other legal requirements. This means that we identify risks in the areas mentioned above—both among our direct suppliers and within our own business operations—and take targeted measures based on this assessment.
SCHUFA has appointed a human rights officer who is responsible for reviewing, ensuring compliance with, and implementing human rights due diligence obligations. The officer reports directly to the Executive Board and is supported by an interdisciplinary team.
Questions regarding data protection or the data stored by SCHUFA are not covered by the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act. Answers to general questions about SCHUFA and data protection at SCHUFA can be found at
