The Special Olympics World Games in Berlin 2023 will take place all over the city. The main venues are the Olympiapark and Messe Berlin. In addition, the swimming and diving hall in the Europasportpark (SSE), the Berlin-Grünau regatta course, Bowling World, Wannsee and Bad Saarow will also be used. The City Cluster with Neptune Fountain, Straße des 17. Juni and Beach Mitte will also be important locations.

The competitions at a glance

The Special Olympics World Games begin with a non-public training session. Depending on the sport, the first competitions with the classifications will start on Saturday, June 16. The aim here is to see which athletes are equally good. They will then compete against each other in the group phase.
