What you can expect

• As a Developer you’ll expand our core applications on the basis of Spring, JakartaEE and Angular.
• At the same time, your topics will be varied and exciting. With modern approaches and an efficient product pipeline you’ll implement new software features and components that are used by our national and international clients, for example, from the financial, retail or insurance branches.
• You’ll coordinate user stories with the product owner and write the relevant unit, acceptance and integration tests.
• You’ll contribute to designing and developing fully-automated integrated quality stages (including code analyses, security scans and tests).
• Together with our sales and product experts you’ll develop and accompany new business and service ideas – from the requirements to the go-live – in cross-functional, agile teams.
• With a view of our big picture, you’ll get time to try out new things, get them going and report on them, so others can also benefit from your experiences.

What you'll bring along

• You have completed a course of studies in IT or a comparable course in higher education.
• You have many years of practical experience with Java 11 or higher
• You can develop both web services and on the basis of XML and JSON
• You know your way around the Spring ecosystem, especially Spring Boot, Batch and Web
• You already have initial experience with Python, possibly even with test or automation tasks
• Our agile development process is based on Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket. You are no stranger to systems of this kind
• You know the principles of DevOps and test-driven development and can apply these in practice with xUnit, SonarQube, Maven and Jenkins
• You have worked with SQL and NoSQL databases. Redis, PostgreSQL and OracleDB play a big role for us in particular
• You have a variety of interests and independently familiarise yourself with new technologies
• You’re a team player, win people over with your open, friendly and supportive manner and use creative scope
• You have good writing and speaking skills in German or English
